I'm Ayshia.
The moniker "2Smooth" originated from my high school basketball days when I was wearing #2 on the court. At 16, I embraced this identity by establishing a clothing brand called 2Smooth Apparel, conveying the message of transcending averageness.
Upon entering college, my brand experienced a slowdown due to my commitments as a college athlete. However, my passion for media was reignited when I stumbled upon my father's old camera. Begging him for it, I began conducting photoshoots with friends, realizing my love for photography and videography. Despite facing athletic challenges, including injuries, I persevered. In 2021, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, I transitioned to a coaching assistant role, concurrently founding 2Smooth Hoops and Graphics, where I organized open runs and captured content.
From grass-roots
beginnings.
Balancing my coaching aspirations and the need to graduate, I embarked on a coaching and social media internship at a local college, marking the beginning of my journey. Investing my last $1000 in a Canon M50 vlogging camera, I began creating content that unexpectedly gained traction.
Post-graduation, I assumed a social media management and training position at a local gym, amassing over 100,000 views on media content. Despite the desire for longevity, divine plans led me to establish 2Smooth Visual Media LLC in December 2022. On February 14th, 2023, at the age of 23, I took a leap of faith to run my business full-time.
